“After some research around what might be involved in an investment in a solar system, I embarked on the rather ominous process of finding a supplier. Lucky for me that I came across Glowsolar early on in my search.
This wasn’t a task that I was going to entrust in anyone. I wasn’t choosing based on price alone. I was choosing based on the skills and experience of the team involved. My early discussions with Keir and Alice left me confident that I was dealing with a ‘safe pair of hands’.
They supported me efficiently through the minefield that the solar design process can be, including the application to the DNO.
Their preferred regular scaffolding suppliers were courteous and careful and erected and dismantled in a timely manner.
Their electrician and their panel installer were both all round decent, friendly folk who they had worked together with for many years and who clearly knew their trades. They involved me in any decisions that needed to be made ‘on the job’.
I was left with a fully tested and working system, with a complete handover pack arriving soon after completion.

“Glowsolar deserve their '5 star' rating. Having been 'burnt' with a solar company before, we were jaded. Keir from Glowsolar presented at a local seminar. Without any hard sell, he did a site survey of our current system, and then advised on how we could be expand it to best effect. We now have 19kw system and a 28kw Tesla 3 powerwall battery setup - and the whole process has been seamless. Great communication throughout - be that from Keir, his team, or Alice in the office. A top example of proper quality - workmanship and service at a really pragmatic and realistic price.
If you want solar and work or live in Cumbria/ Lancs/ North Yorkshire, then just go straight to Glowsolar; you wont be disappointed.”

“Outstanding service from start to finish. After having months of issues with my original installer trying to sort a repair/replacement under my original extended warranty with them only to have them go into administration right before they were due to replace/repair my faulty inverter I was in need of a new installer to get me up and running again.
Found Glowsolar were within an hour of my location and looked to have excellent reviews so asked for a quote for appropriate replacement inverter and install costs. Alice answered all my questions same working day on the Monday and was able to fit me in for install that week. Keir turned up Thursday same week and had the faulty inverter gone and new inverter up and running in under an hour, and hearing what a nightmare I'd had with my original installer trying to get the warranty fix done was kind enough to upgrade my new inverter warranty to 10 years for free in sympathy for the issues I'd had.
Can only give 5 stars but it's definitely a 5 star+ service that's been given, would highly recommend.”

Also amenable to helping when I asked for extra stuff like independent power switches for blackouts!
The National company was a nightmare trying to oversell and pressured demands to sign on the dotted line!
